The Bed and Breakfast
We are happy to welcome you to the Bell-Clemmons House. The house was built during the Civil War, and completely renovated in 2004 – is decorated in a shabby-chic comfortable cottage style. We have a long history of inviting guests – it was a boarding house in the early 1900’s. These days, we provide our guests with a relaxed atmosphere within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and waterfront of our charming little city.
The Bell-Clemmons House has three guests rooms each with full baths. The rooms are decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and cottage style pieces, many found in local shops.
Guests can enjoy a beverage on the balcony porch, or in the lounge. There are homemade goodies available for your enjoyment. Relaxing in a comfortable wicker chair on one our three porches is a great way to pass some time.
Although completely renovated, we have retained and re-purposed much of the original woodwork. We make sure to provide our guests with modern comforts and the charm of an historic home.
Three inviting guest rooms with private baths are all styled for your pleasure and comfort. All rooms feature quality bedding and fine linens. Each room has cable television, an iPod docking clock radio, and free high speed wireless internet. All rooms are on the second floor.
